CORDOBA BIKE TOUR
CORDOBA - ARGENTINA
The Córdoba Hills are home to breathtaking landscapes, featuring rolling mountains, green valleys, and crystal-clear rivers. Exploring the region by bike allows riders to experience a great diversity of terrain, from gentle hills to challenging climbs that reward with spectacular panoramic views.
The Jesuit influence in the region is remarkable, with numerous Jesuit estancias and missions dating back to the 17th century. These historic sites, such as Santa Catalina Estancia, stand not only as testimonies to colonial architecture but also to the significant impact the Jesuits had on local education and the regional economy.
Previous Day
Arrival in La Cumbre during the afternoon. Bike preparation and pre-trip meeting to review the itinerary and logistics. Equipment check and adjustments. Group dinner.
Day 1 | La Cumbre - La Cumbre
A perfect first day to warm up while riding part of the course of the famous RÃo Pinto race. There will be time to visit the Cuchi Corral viewpoint, enjoy lunch on the banks of the Quilpo River, and, if temperatures allow, take a refreshing swim in one of its calm pools, home to freshwater turtles. After visiting the charming village of San Marcos Sierras, the ride continues to the junction with National Route 38, where a transfer will be waiting to take the group back to La Cumbre.
Day 2 | La Cumbre - Ascochinga
Today’s ride takes us on a journey through the Córdoba hills, featuring challenging climbs as well as long and rewarding descents. Along the way, the route crosses several rivers and passes through a landscape of rolling green hills that accompanies us all the way to Ascochinga. From there, just a few more kilometers lead to La Pampa, home to what is perhaps the most beautiful hotel of the tour.

Day 3 | Ascochinga - Ascochinga
Today's ride is designed as a loop heading north. Along the way, we visit Santa Catalina Estancia, perhaps one of the most significant sites related to the Jesuit presence in Argentina. Near its majestic church, we stop for lunch in one of the historic buildings of the estancia.
At the end of the day, we return to spend another night at our charming colonial hotel.
Day 4 | Ascochinga - La Cumbre
For the final day, we have saved the most demanding ride of the tour, but also one of the most beautiful and rewarding. The route begins by passing through several charming mountain villages, including La Granja and Agua de Oro, before reaching Candonga.
From there, we leave the pavement behind and begin a long gravel climb, with stunning views unfolding around every bend. The day, and the tour itself, comes to an end in La Cumbre, reached after a long and well-earned descent.
A farewell group dinner provides the perfect opportunity to relive the highlights of the journey before a well-deserved rest and the trip back home.
